
Shipping
Most gift baskets are shipped the same day if ordered before 3PM Eastern Time, weekdays and
delivered in 1-7 days depending on destination. Our goal is to process all orders in a timely manner. If timely shipment is not possible or if items are temporarily
unavailable, you will be notified and will have the option of cancelling your order.
Customers may specify an approximate arrival date of the package. However, we cannot guarantee
delivery on exact dates.
We are not responsible for delays in delivery if the recipient is
not available to sign for the gift or if weather or other delivery problems are
encountered. Please allow an additional day for packaging and shipping if your order
is placed after 3PM EST. Items ordered on the weekend or after 3PM EST on Friday will ship
on Monday. Items ordered over holidays will ship the next business day.
The following map shows the approximate transit time (IN BUSINESS DAYS) for delivery
from Send A Smile in Little River, SC (29566) to your recipient
via UPS Ground.
This map is provided for reference only.
UPS does not ship or deliver ground packages on Saturday or Sunday. If a Saturday delivery is needed, we must ship via either 2nd day air or next day air. UPS charges an extra fee above their normal air rate for this service.

The UPS Ground rate is determined at the time of checkout.
*Packages shipped via ground may take up to 7 business days for delivery to the West
Coast. Transit times are generally accurate but not guaranteed. Transit times are determined in business days. When determining transit times, please do not count the day your package is shipped nor weekend days or holidays in the calculation.
*All rates are based on one item or one shipment. If more than one shipping box is needed for packaging your order, additional charges may be added. Any additional
fees will be approved by the purchaser before any item is shipped.
USPS Priority Mail (usually 2-3 days) and UPS Air Service USPS priority rates and UPS Air rates are determined once the weight, size of package and destination is determined. If Priority or Air shipment is needed, please call our store during business hours (M-F 10:00am-4:30pm EDT) toll free (866) 203-4664, or leave us a message after hours.
When shipping USPS, we provide delivery confirmation service to verify delivery of your
package, but transit times are not guaranteed and your package cannot be tracked. If using UPS, a tracking number will be provided.
Shipping transit times are generally accurate, but cannot be guaranteed. Shipping transit
times are in addition to the time it will take to process your order. Please order early
to avoid delays.
We will ship to APO/FPO addresses via the USPS, but delivery and delivery times can not be
guaranteed. APO/FPO packages can not be tracked.
Please note: During busy, holiday seasons, packages may take longer to
ship than usual. Please order at least 4 days before the intended delivery date and choose
express shipping options to help assure that your package will be delivered when you need
it.
Shipping charges given at time of order generally cover the shipment of one gift basket or
item. If you are ordering more than one item for delivery to the same address, shipping
charges may be recalculated and the purchaser will be notified of the correct amount.
We recommend expedited shipping for packages containing food or other perishable items.
We ship to United States addresses only.
Important Note:
We are not responsible for misdirected mail if inaccurate or incomplete shipping
information is provided. A $10 change of address fee will be charged the customer if the address
information provided is incorrect (this fee is charged by our carriers).
Ordering/Order Confirmation/Shipping Status and Sent Package Tracking Info
Shipments can be sent to one recipient only. For multiple recipients, please place
multiple orders.
An order confirmation will be sent by e-mail soon after your order is placed. You will
receive another e-mail with shipping information when your package is shipped. If you do
not receive a confirmation or shipping/tracking information, please contact us via e-mail
at sendasmilegifts@yahoo.com. Our system is
automated, so if your e-mail address was entered incorrectly on the order form, you will
not receive this important information. We do not send paper invoices. Please print your
on-line invoice when you place your order. If you need another copy of your invoice, we
will be glad to e-mail you a copy.
